Extra	About Us The North Eastern is a family friendly, safe and relaxing place to enjoy a drink or a meal with old friends or to meet new ones! Helen and Paul offer a warm welcome with a large variety of draught and bottled beers, wines, soft drinks and cocktails for the more adventurous. The North Eastern Hotel is a vibrant town centre pub with lots to offer. Set over three floors, this historic building houses two bar areas, a restaurant and 7 Bed and Breakfast rooms. To book either of our functions rooms, please see any member of the bar staff.

	We have 2 rooms available for functions: Platform 2 is our restaurant and smaller function room and can be booked for a wide range of functions; meetings, funerals, christenings etc. Capacity : 32 seated (for meals) 50 for functions. The restaurant is available for large parties wanting a meal. Prices are £4.95 per head for adults and £2.95 per head for children. 	We ask that parties over 20, pre-book meals so that we can provide a fast and efficient service.
	The view of the bar	Our larger function room is The Lounge. Capacity: 110 people. DJ can be provided for an additional £60. A buffet can also be provided at a cost of £3.50 per head. The room can be decorated any way you wish and we can provide decorations at an additional cost. Any special requests for drinks and buffet choices can be taken into consideration.
	Special Drinks Offers Two VK bottles for £4. House cocktail jug £5 share one with friends. Pimms over ice; glass £2.60 Pitcher £7. Many more drinks offers available so come in to the pub for something different every week.
	Fancy a challenge? The pub has a Nintendo Wii which is free to play. We are looking at setting up a WII WARS, where people can come along and challenge other customers on Wii Sports. The high scorers will have their names added to a leader board and prizes will be awarded to the winners. So call in, demonstrate your game playing skills and you may even win a prize!
